Champion of English Premier League, Manchester City confirmed that Italian striker Mario Balotelli has finally accepted the two week fine charged on him. Not only that, he has also dropped the appeal that he made against the punishment. The news has been revealed publicly by Manchester City.
Lawyers representing striker Balotelli were scheduled to deliver his case before a league tribunal. On the other hand, manager of Manchester City, Roberto Mancini imposed fine of 340,000 pounds on him because of his indiscipline on the field – as reported by Daily Mail.
Actually, last season the 22 year old missed total 11 competitive games during the campaign. Manchester city said in a statement that both the parties have talks and as a sign of respect for the team as well as for Roberto Mancini, Mario decided not to oppose against the punishment. He thought that it would be better to accept two week fine that is levied upon him by the Manchester Club because of his mistakes and he also took back his appeal that he made.
But neither Mario nor Mancini has spoken with anyone regarding this but hopefully, they will soon do so. Mario is playing for Manchester City since a long time. He started his career as a professional footballer at Lumezzane . He also played for FC Barcelona but was suspended from the team because of his in disciplinary issues. In 2010, he was grounded by criticism as he appeared on a Italian TV show by wearing an Milan jersey. This ruined his career a bit. But it was his former coach Roberto Mancini who decided to give him a fresh start. Mario joined Manchester City in August 2010. He earned his first cap for the Italian national team on August 2010 and that also in a friendly match against Cote d Ivoire.
